Technical Detail
Kingmach's sliding inclinometer probe has a built-in high-sensitivity sensor, usually using MEMS or servo accelerometer technology, with a resolution of 0.01mm/500mm. This accuracy is sufficient to detect small deformations of the soil in its early stages. The probe shell is sealed and pressure-resistant and can adapt to the harsh environment of deep holes. The accompanying data collector supports Bluetooth transmission, which can send real-time data to the mobile app, and the displacement curve can be viewed on site. The standard inclinometer tube of the system is made of aluminum alloy and ABS plastic. Customers can choose according to the hole depth and budget. The probe slides along the guide groove in the inclinometer tube, and the inclination angle change is measured at a certain depth at intervals, and the cumulative horizontal displacement is calculated through integration. Biaxial sensors are usually used to monitor displacement in two orthogonal directions at the same time.
The inclinometer pipes need to be buried vertically as much as possible. When connecting pipe sections, they should be aligned with the guide grooves and fixed. The backfill material should be dense and without gaps. The bottom of the pipe should be fixed to avoid the influence of buoyancy. After installation, the initial value should be read as a benchmark.
